Dirty Vibe

Kpop fans are not new to G-Dragon and CL being the "trend setters" around South Korea. Especially when it comes to wacky and weird. They had done a collab with Skrillex (& Diplo), the song Dirty Vibe, and they let every Kpop fan know that YES this song would have a video. After the LONG wait, that maybe, some people forgot THE VIDEO was suppose to come out. Both GD and CL have been teasing fans with the set, and outfits, that Dirty Vibe will be.

Not bad

As an avid kpop fan, especially of Big Bang and of 2NE1, I was ecstatic to see a somewhat "normal" teaser. I love GD & CL but sometimes their hair and clothes make me want to slap their coordinators. And if they chose that themselves then it makes me want to be that FRIEND that tells them the truth about their outfit. Everything about Dirty Vibe was exciting me! I listen to that song as a warm up song when I go out to run and I start singing the verses: "Hold up, You in the presence of a QUEEN, I turn up. All the pretty bitches love me! UNNIE!" And so on. This song is my jam. But then it all started to go downhill as more teaser photos were popping out.

 Don't get me wrong. I love florescent anything but the water guns...? I was not digging in it so much but HEY there are no outrageous clothes or hairstyles so the MV might just hit the RIGHT spot, for me, at least. And then this happened:

WTF IS THIS?

I SPOKE TO DAMN EARLY. I really don't feel this MV will be what I had envisioned it to be. I KNOW how crazy and fun both CL and GD are but would it hurt them, just once, to actually put out an MV where I don't face palm myself because of the style. And I'm all for "free/creative" expressions but sometimes people GO too far in expressing. This MV will be the death of me, literally. I can not wait for Skrillex fans (also Diplo fans) to rip this MV apart. Calling GD & CL "cray", "Chinese", and of course "SING IN ENGLISH." But of course some KPOP fans will rage against them and PRAISE how artistic this music video is (will be) because KPOP. I wish that kpop fans would not just "eat" everything their artists just throw out at them. As a fan of KPOP for 8 years, I have seen weird in kpop. But GD&CL make it look like child's play and up one another every year.

I really hope SKRILLEX and DIPLO are ready for the CLUSTER FUCK this MV will be. But of course looking like you're about to have a water gun fight with your buddies is normal. But GD looks like he got his girls from the ratchet strip club. CL looking like she's the mother board of some alien species that needs her to literally GO BACK HOME, YOU'RE DRUNK. I feel that when I watch this music video everything I say will be, "WHAT THE FUCK? NO. I NEED THE NOPE TRAIN TO COME AND GET ME. CL...WHAT...GD...WHY?" Don't lie to yourself saying, "But GD Oppa is so handsome! CL Unnie is the BADDEST FEMALE!" YES! They're great artists, but NO sometimes they cross the line of 'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WEARING?' or 'WHAT AM I WATCHING?'
